Our waters flow down state scenic rivers and along with our lakes provide recreation for canoers, kayakers, pleasure boaters, swimming, fishing and houseboats. Our hills and valleys provide sking, golfing and over 100 miles of hiking, biking, backpacking and birding, mountain biking and bridle trails. We have covered bridges, one being the longest in the state. We have marshes and bird sanctuaries and arboretums.
We are a family rendezvous for all seasons. We offer Bed & Breakfast, hotels, Inns, a castle, camping, cabins and teepees. We are a four season nature spectacular with Mohican State Park, Forest, Malabar Farm and Wolf Creek Grist Mill. We have waterfalls and caves, fire towers and swinging bridges. We have the largest Amish community in the world.We have colleges and universities. We are rural America sprinkled with small villages and cities. Our roads wind alongside rivers and meander past farms and forests. We share them with horse drawn buggies and farm equipment. We have the largest network of scenic, recreational and historic byways. They traverse through cities and host dining and shopping opportunities to satisfy all travelers.
We are museums, artists and theaters. We are bakeries, quilt shops and cheese shops. We are greenhouses, fruit orchards and hayrides. We are furniture makers and wood carvers.
We offer year round overnight experiences with a plethora of travel destinations.
Here travelers coming and going pass the baton to the new arrivals with a voice that echoes "enjoying the experience".
