Wally Road Scenic Byway

The Third Annual River Days is taking place June 27th  just south of Loudonville on Wally Road.

 

The Floating River Parade is the one of the best known attractions at this event. Everyone is welcome and there will be no pre-registration this year.  ON site registration starts at 9:30am, with the float parade commencing at 10:00am from River Run Canoe Livery at 3070 Wally Road.

 

All participants must be in full costume and sign a release of liability to participate. Everyone who arrives in full costume will be able to get a free canoe. There will be no awarding of prizes this year.

 

In addition to the floating parade, educational demonstrations and exhibits will be held at a variety of businesses on Wally Road.
  • Come learn how to make your own rope from plant fibers. See a local nature photography exhibit @ Mohican River Inn.
  • Learn about native plants and the naturalist program and Division of Watercraft will have demostrations - Smith's Campground & Cabins.
  • Observe and participate in safety demonstrations - Wally World Resort.
